You ain't fuckin' with my dougie.

O yes, Korea, the land of opportunity that is simultaneously dashed out by reality.

For those of you who don't know yet, Yours truly is now going to be here until February 2012. Yeah, I got cornered into signing another contract.

But this is not all bad. I am going to FINALLY abandon this shit apartment I have in favor of a much better, and much more Billy Monette like place. I have also been living both more recklessly and more sensibly. My night times are not as expensive, but far more heroic in almost every way.

I have been having a lot of fun lately, and that is very strange indeed. I was all "fuck the world" for a month or so back there, but I'd have to say I have begun to settle in nicely. I have a new enthusiasm for my job, and I have discovered that I actually do love the night spots that are up in Seoul.

And let us discuss Seoul for a moment.

I have never had the privilege of partying in a massive city. My days of "wondering where the party is" have faded away. Every bar in Seoul on a Saturday is packed wall to wall with people.

I really miss my car and the lovely driving trips I used to go on with my friends. These trips would usually end nowhere, but a lot of good music was jammed on these excursions.

I haven't written a serious blog in a while. Because of this, I have decided to kind of update on things since my last writing.

- I spent a while in a very self loathing sort of mind. I felt ugly because I couldn't be at home where I am actually the man. To solve this problem, I have just tried to make this my new home, the new place I can be the man. I don't know if it's working yet, but I have a fairly solid group of people I've been hanging out with.

- I have begun reading again. I have been reading my ass off, and it's been a real pleasure. I actually cleaned my apartment just so I could sit comfortably in it and read read read.

In all honesty, I guess I am okay with staying here for another year. Yeah, I was kind of happy that I only had six months left, but at the same time, my ability to save money has just exponentially improved. I now expect to bring home no less than sixteen thousand with me next year.

I hope I can get a vacation around November to go to Marlana's wedding.

I have nothing else to really add at this time. I will try and write more as I feel it.
